Household Staples!

  • Nut Butter (Sunflower Butter, Peanut Butter & Co. all varieties, Naturally More Flaxseed Peanut Butter, Barney Butter Squeeze Packs)
  • Fruits
  • Vegetables
  • Sweet Potato (with Chili Powder!!!)
  • Whole Grain Crackers (Back to Nature Stone Ground Wheat and Flaxseed are the best!!!)
  • Yogurt (Oikos 0% Plain is awesome for both sweet and savory.  Great to make dips, dressings and marinades, but also perfect for parfaits and cereal)
  • Almond Breeze or Unsweetened Coconut Milk (I tend to buy Almond Breeze the most, but I do enjoy Silk, as well)
  • Reduced Sugar Ketchup
  • 96/4 Ground Beef (I always keep this on hand to make sauce, chili, homemade burgers, nachos, etc.  I am a beef girl all the way!!!)
  • Boneless Skinless Breast of Chicken
  • Shrimp and Fish
  • Kashi Frozen Meals (I am obsessed with Pesto Primavera right now! and this is super easy to pack for work)
  • Kashi Pita Chips (The plain are good, salsa flavor is AMAZING!)
  • Clif Bars/Clif Mojo (all varieties…Ryan and I both love these if we know we won’t be able to have a meal for a while)
  • Lara Bars (Peanut Butter and Jelly, Peanut Butter Cookie…I love my peanut butter 🙂 )
  • Luna Bars (Chocolate Dipped Coconut, anyone?!)
  • Nuts (Emerald Sweet and Salty Chocolate Peanut Butter, Honey Roasted Blue Diamond, Salt and Vinegar, Habenero BBQ)
  • Cereals (Trader Joes Brand anything, Kashi Go Lean Crunch, Plain Shredded Wheat, Basic 4…Ryan’s new favorite)
  • Oatmeal
  • Eggs (we go through a dozen or two every week!)
  • Bagel Thins and Thomas’ Breakfast Bread (Blueberry and Cinnamon Raisin make great Nut Butter and Jelly sammies!)

*These are just a few of the things I try to keep on hand at all times to throw together quick and easy meals! Feel free to share some of your standards!!

Check back soon for updates!  Thanks for your patience.
